If you find you can't vote go to this page (https://www.gagb.org.uk/forums/register.php) where you can change your status from "Member (non-voting)" to "Member". There's a process in the forum software which makes members non-voting if they haven't logged in for six months or a year (I forget which).

I could not vote, newbie......I guess.
Moving from Canada to the UK this summer, so a Aug/Sept date would suit us just fine.
Cheers,

It's not my usual style to get dates wrong, BUT
Sometime early this year I emailed the Canadian LadyBugKids re. their forthcoming visit to UK, as I had seen their post on the "Help Offered" forum here...
Got a lovely email back, pointing out that that post was made for their visit in 2007! :D
I think we need a new "Help Offered" post so that one can disappear from view :)

I think we need a new "Help Offered" post so that one can disappear from view :)Thanks for pointing that one out Mrs.B I have edited the settings for that particular board to only show any messages from the last three months by default. The rest of the messages are still there but they won't automatically appear.
Hopefully that should prevent anyone making the same mistake.
Time for a cuppa :coffee:

(That wasn't meant as a complaint, btw - just my stupidity for not noticing the date of that posting!)
