BigLad & Co.

What the heck is a "Kung Food Panda?"

It's a bit like Kung Po Chicken, but a lot more expensive!!!

Anyway, that's correct Dr Dick - over to you!

DrDick&Vick
7th January 2011, 09:16 AM
Ok then which film was this from?
"You shoot off a guy's head with his pants down, believe me, Texas is not the place you wanna get caught."

Palujia
9th January 2011, 03:59 PM
One of "she who must be obeyed's"

Thelma and Louise !!

DrDick&Vick
9th January 2011, 07:18 PM

Palujia

Here goes then with another of my all time favourite films:-
"Listen, I don't mean to be a sore loser, but when its done, if I'm dead,
Kill him !!"

DrDick&Vick
15th January 2011, 03:33 PM
was watching a couple of films last night and suddenly realised that I had read this when I heard it.
Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid

Palujia
1st February 2011, 10:02 PM
I know who said it but don't know which film it comes from - the quote was on TV this week sometime

Boltonian
1st February 2011, 10:40 PM
I am innocent and have never heard the quote.
Probably seen the film like - in one and out the other...

DrDick&Vick
3rd February 2011, 03:51 PM
hint time
the character was called - ALVY SINGER and played by W###Y A###N

martybartfast
3rd February 2011, 04:34 PM
Was that the one where he plays the theatrical agent being chased by the mob? If so I think it was called Stardust Memories.

Edit to add: Just remembered the film I was thinking of was Broadway Danny Rose, in which he played Danny Rose, so obviously not the one you're looking for.

DrDick&Vick
5th February 2011, 01:16 PM
Hint enlargement time

the character was called - ALVY SINGER and played by W###Y A###N & the film was A#### ###L

DrDick&Vick

BigLad & Co.
11th February 2011, 11:35 AM

Bump...

DrDick&Vick
22nd February 2011, 11:31 AM
Whoops, sorry folks. I got too involved with other things.

Film quote time then:
"Excuse me while I whip this out." Name the film and this is a classic film of it's type.

Palujia
22nd February 2011, 10:14 PM
One of the "Carry one films?" Carry on Dick or Up the Khyber ?

DrDick&Vick
26th February 2011, 11:11 AM
Nope none of the carry on films. A fiery title.

Boltonian
26th February 2011, 11:29 AM
The one and only Blazing Saddles.

DrDick&Vick
26th February 2011, 02:08 PM
Yup, correct my friend.
Over to you.

Boltonian
27th February 2011, 05:47 AM
There could be more than one answer to this question so I will give you a clue, it isnt an adult movie.

Which film had no dialogue other than grunts?

DrDick&Vick
27th February 2011, 12:45 PM
Only one springs to mind, Caveman with Ringo Starr 'who only grunts at the best of times'

martybartfast
27th February 2011, 12:50 PM
Wasn't there also 1 million years BC, with Raquel Welsh ?

Boltonian
27th February 2011, 09:21 PM
Its the RW on I am aware of.
Well done.

martybartfast
27th February 2011, 10:06 PM
So staying with the RW theme:

What do Raquel Welch and Fred Trueman have in common?

Boltonian
27th February 2011, 11:17 PM
Now that just isnt cricket.

martybartfast
28th February 2011, 08:19 AM
Actually I remembered on the train on the way in that I got confused over which thread this was, so:

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe."

And in case anyone was wondering Raquel's son and Fred's daughter are/were married which always struck me as an odd combination.

Boltonian
28th February 2011, 03:20 PM
Its a reference to a battle, I think.

martybartfast
3rd March 2011, 11:43 AM
Next line:

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion,

martybartfast
7th March 2011, 02:21 PM
The whole scene:

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.
I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate.
All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
Time to die.

And it wasn't spoken by a human

ivanidea
7th March 2011, 03:18 PM
Blade Runner.

martybartfast
7th March 2011, 04:03 PM
Blade Runner.

DING

ivanidea
8th March 2011, 09:39 AM
Please! I don't wanna go back there, you don't know what it's like to be treated as a freak!... Well, maybe you do... but that's why we gotta stick together! You gotta let me stay!

thekennelat79

thekennelat79
10th March 2011, 10:55 AM
Ta very much.
Let's try an easy one.........

Take this down: I want rustlers, cut-throats, murderers, bounty hunters, desperadoes, mugs, pugs, thugs, nit-wits, half-wits, dim-wits, vipers, snipers, con-men, Indian agents, Mexican bandits, muggers, ******ers, bush-whackers, horn-swagglers, horse-thieves, bull-dykes, train-robbers, bank-robbers, ass-kickers, ****-kickers, and Methodists! Ha, ha, ha, ha!"

"Could you repeat that, sir?"

thekennelat79
13th March 2011, 08:46 PM
I did say that it was an easy one...........

Let's try another clue.........

This film sounded like fairly hot stuff

zarbibird
13th March 2011, 08:55 PM
Is it from 'Blazing saddles?'

thekennelat79
13th March 2011, 09:10 PM
Is it from 'Blazing saddles?'

Well done! Spot on! :)

Over to you for the next question..................

zarbibird
13th March 2011, 09:15 PM
Ok then! Which film does this line come from.....
'Christmas is carnage!'

DrDick&Vick
13th March 2011, 09:25 PM
Oink Oink, that might just be Babe!

zarbibird
14th March 2011, 05:45 PM
Yes indeed! One of zarbibird's favourite films :) Over to you!

DrDick&Vick
14th March 2011, 08:58 PM
OK, an easy one for you all.

"I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way"

Character as well if possible.

Boltonian
14th March 2011, 10:35 PM
WHo fwamed wodger wabbit.

Merrrr wats up Doc!

Mrs sexy wabbit said it, cant wemembre her name....

DrDick&Vick
15th March 2011, 12:46 PM
Over to you , she was Jessica

Boltonian
15th March 2011, 03:11 PM
It's a motorcycle. Two cylinder. Chain drive. One squeaky wheel, on the front, it sounds like. Now you go for the tires, and I'll go right for the seat of the problem.

Bonus points if you can name the character.
:)

martybartfast
15th March 2011, 04:18 PM
I can see the scene, I'm pretty sure It's the Aristocats, where the butler is trying to get rid of the kittens, and I remember seeing it on Screen Test with Michael Rod about 35 years ago! It's the two dogs IIRC a bloodhound and a basset hound.

Not sure of the name but I'm getting the name Napoleon from somewhere (I'm beginning to sound like Doris Stokes!)

Boltonian
15th March 2011, 05:23 PM
We have a winner, DING DONG:)

martybartfast
15th March 2011, 07:25 PM
What hump?

RuberyBlue
15th March 2011, 08:05 PM
Elephant man;)

martybartfast
17th March 2011, 09:33 PM
Nope.

Here's the quote in context:

Dr. FF: You know, I'm a rather brilliant surgeon. Perhaps I can help you with that hump.

I: What hump?

DrDick&Vick
18th March 2011, 10:17 AM
Rocky Horror Show?

martybartfast
18th March 2011, 10:34 AM
Not quite, but you're thinking along the right lines.

FF doesn't stand for "Frank N Furter", but it's someone very similar with a similar sounding surname.

DrDick&Vick
18th March 2011, 10:41 AM
Must be a Frankenstein film then but not sure which one

martybartfast
18th March 2011, 01:02 PM
Must be a Frankenstein film then but not sure which one

getting warmer.

DrDick&Vick
18th March 2011, 03:59 PM
Just asked my son what he thinks and he reckons form the ititials F.F and I it has to be Young Frankenstein as he has seen that one, the only ones I remember are the really old ones

martybartfast
18th March 2011, 04:21 PM
Yep it was Young Frankenstein, with Marty Feldman as Igor with a moving hump.

DING

DrDick&Vick
18th March 2011, 04:49 PM
OK let's go with
"Get busy livin' or get busy dyin'."

DrDick&Vick
30th March 2011, 08:33 PM
I was almost shaw somebody would redeem themselves with this one

martybartfast
30th March 2011, 08:51 PM
