Simply Paul's Ninth Most Remote Event (Scotland, July'15)
I've been visiting Scotland every other year since 2003 to combine a holiday with caching (and cache placing/maintenance) and I've enjoyed hosting a few events along the way. From the original Remote event on St Kilda in 2007, to 2013's mainland Britain's most westerly, via Remote-3 on Shetland in 2009, and Ben Nevis CITO, Remote-5 on Eigg and a hunt for Britain's oldest cache in 2011, along with many others. The first published for my 2015 adventure is
GC3TPPN: Yet Another Meet @ The Old Forge, Inverie Knoydart on Saturday July 11th. This will be my third event at mainland Britain's most remote pub (a boat-ride from Mallaig or a long walk across the mountains away) as it's a truly spectacular location. With a pub
I hope you can join me for this and/or one, some or all of my other events planned across the Islands and Highlands this summer. It'd be great to have you along! Details of Remote-9 will be added here in due course...

An update on this:
I've added two further events to my summer caching plans. The 9th Most Remote event, on top of the most southerly Munro - Ben More on Mull - and a few days later, a meet at the most southerly point of Scotland.
Saturday 11th, http://coord.info/GC3TPPN - Yet Another Meet @ The Old Forge, Inverie Knoydart.
Saturday 18th, http://coord.info/GC5T16J - 100 Not Out/Britain's 9th Most Remote Event (Mull).
Tuesday 21st, http://coord.info/GC5N6R0 - Scotland's Most Southerly Event.
I've a couple more ideas in mind - hope you can join me in the Highlands & Islands this July!

Another update on my July plans:
Added to the above, Monday 20th - The Castle Aaargh! Your Quest is at an End. A meet overlooking Castle Stalker, as seen at the end of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. There's an option to go inside too (tour starts at 8.30am, at a cost) if anyone wants to, but it must be prebooked via the castle's site.
Also, Deeper Underground (Cumbria) on Wednesday July 22nd at Cathedral Cavern, a disused quarry near Slaters Bridge, Little Langdale. I've always wanted to host an underground event and this location offers easier access and more impressive visuals than most! :socool:

I wouldn't exactly call it underground though!

Oh it is. A bit. Not Gaping Gill deep, but underground nevertheless
